Waldo World Arena is one of the ten network levels in Marathon.


Waldo World Arena is another network level where players spawn in small rooms away from a central area. Three of the four rooms contain a teleporter which sends players to a north or south ledge overlooking the central area.

The small rooms often contain an MA-75 Assault Rifle/Grenade Launcher or Zeus Class Fusion Pistol, while the central area contains ammunition and the SPNKR SSM Launcher.

Suggested Tactics

Controlling the central area is key as this denies other players access to the SPNKR SSM Launcher. While in the central area be wary of players shooting down from the ledges. Firing rockets at players on the ledges will often force them jump down to avoid the large blast radius.

Remember to use the teleporters to access the ledges on the north and south sides of the central area. This will give a height advantage over players fighting on the floor. The ledges in the central area are dimly lit, making it difficult to be seen by players standing in the center but don't linger there to long as the ledges are relatively enclosed spaces making for easy kills by players in the center who've picked up the SPNKR SSM Launcher.
